Castile Soaps

Our long-lasting, pure LaundryGal Castile Soaps come in Organic Coconut or Organic Olive Oil, and scented or unscented varieties. We offer custom/scents and molds as well!

OUR INGREDIENTS

Just 3 Ingredients! Distilled Water, Lye (sodium hydroxide), Organic Food-Grade Organic Coconut Oil (cold-pressed, unrefined) OR Organic Olive Oil (cold-pressed).

Scented Versions have only 4 Ingredients! For Scented Soaps: Organic Lavender Essential Oil or Organic Orange Essential Oil is the fourth ingredient.

PRODUCT SPECS

Every LaundryGal Castile Soap is hand-made, and as such the product specs (height, length, depth, weight) vary from bar to bar. Generally-speaking each bar has the following maximum dimensions:

Height: 1", Base: 2" wide, Top: 2/75" wide, Weight: 2.2 oz. 

PROPERTIES & USES!

This product is a castile soap and can be used for anything a pure soap can be used for, including but not limited to: bathing and washing hands and face, washing dishes and washing clothing and delicate items. It can also be utilized as the base for other detergents, as we've used for our LaundryGal detergent.

As a pure soap, this product lathers quickly and rinses clean as well. Our video testimonies show how clean it can get glasses! The bar form allows it to last a very long time, use after use.


Detergent

Our super-concentrated LaundryGal clothes detergents come in 3lb or 1lb detergent packs and 9 oz. gift bottles. Just 1-2 tablespoons per load!

OUR 4 INGREDIENTS

Just four ingredients! LaundryGal Coconut Castile Soap (lye, distilled water and organic food-grade coconut oil), Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate), Washing Soda (sodium carbonate) and Borax (sodium borate).

PRODUCT SPECS
Each detergent bag contains approximately 3lb or 1lb (net weight) of LaundryGal Organic Coconut-based detergent.

Pack dimensions: Our 1lb pack is (height/length/width) 8"x5"x2.5" and our 3lb pack is 11.5"x 7" x 4".

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Follow your machine's washing instructions on loading and each garment's washing instruction labels for best care practices. Our Clothes Detergent can be used on all settings and temperatures, but for general use a warm wash/cold rinse setting is optimum. For best results, use 1-2 tablespoons per load, depending on the load and level of soiled garments. Detergent can be added with clothing or after water has filled up.
FAQs & LAUNDRY TIPS

Q1: Do you recommend LaundryGal detergent for ALL fabrics being washed in the washing machine?

A: Yes, but please read your item's washing labels to ensure you are using the correct temperature and other settings.

Tip #1: ADD NATURAL FRAGRANCE TO YOUR DETEREGENT: Add a drop or two (or more, depending on your preference) of organic essential oil to the detergent powder before adding to your wash. Essential oils are concentrated essences, so we recommend you try a drop or two to start. Great scents to try: lavender, grapefruit

Tip#2: NATURAL FABRIC SOFTENER: Add a half a cup diluted white vinegar to your rinse cup for softer garments.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
JUST LIKE OUR LAUNDRY DETERGENT PACKS: Follow your machine's washing instructions (usually accompanied with the owner's manual or on the inside of the washer's lid). Read the garment or fabric's washing instruction labels for best care. For best results, use 1-2 tablespoons per load, depending on the load and stained/soiled clothing. Detergent can be added with clothing or after washer is filling up.

WHAT IS CASTILE SOAP?
LaundryGal Soaps are Castile Soaps, the purist types of soaps in the world containing only 3 ingredients:
1. Water
2. Lye (aka caustic soda or sodium hydroxide, produced from salt or sodium chloride ) and
3. Olive or Coconut oil
The name "Castile" originates from Spain, and because of it's purity, is incredibly versatile in its uses and as the base for many other cleaning products, including our LaundryGal Clothes Detergent. WHAT OTHER INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?
EVERY SINGLE LaundryGal soap contains organic, food-grade ingredients. We can guarantee this, since our products are made by hand, in LaundryGal's home kitchen! All ingredients in all our products are basic and can be found in your pantry.
For our scented soaps, including custom and specialty products, we use only organic essential oils (such as lavender, orange, and rosemary) and organic ingredients (such as paprika, coffee, etc.). These ingredients are found in LaundryGal’s own pantry, and reflect our commitment to purity and quality.

For our clothes detergents, with our basic coconut Castile soap, we blend baking soda, borax and washing soda - all basic compounds. All our products are labelled and we stand behind every single one of them.

DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM SOAPS?
